In 2020, I designed a sleek black stiletto with strappy detailings for their capsule competition by Jimmy Choo called #ChooSketch. The stilettos named "Onyx Odyssey" were curated based on the imagery of the beautiful black onyx flowers. The shoes also have black dew drop accents embellishing the heels.

Recently, I reimagined the stilettos' design to enforce a stronger message. So, I curated a moldboard focusing on black dahlias and some eccentric symbolism revolving around dark red and black stilettos.

After careful pondering, I settled on recreating a few black dahlias on the back of the heel, replacing the onyx flowers. The entire shoe gets a wash of dark red in certain areas to tie in the base of the shoes to the black dahlias at the back. A smaller dahlia adorns the centre of the shoe as a finishing touch.
